One of the most exciting parts about a new season is changing up my beauty routine. In celebration of summer, I wanted to share some of my favorite budget beauty buys that just launched this year. You guys may already know that my favorite look for summer is au naturel, which usually translates to bronze, glowing skin. It’s all about finding the right products to get there without spending a ton. So, the next time you’re at Ulta, Walmart, or Target – or if you’re just trying to score free shipping on Amazon, here are the products to keep an eye out for.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost City Shield Facial Gel Mist

I swear by face mists in the summer to keep my skin fresh and hydrated. This latest one by Neutrogena contains antioxidants that protect the skin from pollution and humidity (which can lead to skin damage). I love how dewy it keeps my skin. I use this before applying makeup, but it also works over makeup. Pro Tip: After misting, gently pat it into the skin for the best results.

Olay Face Sunscreen Serum + Shine Control

I’ve raved about this sunscreen a few times on the blog already, but now that it’s summer, you really need to get your hands on the Olay Sun Face Sunscreen. The non-greasy feel is perfect for the humidity and keeps your skin shine-free all day. It functions as a primer and serum, so you can really keep your everyday routine simple and hassle-free.

Milani Setting Spray

I don’t believe this Milani Setting Spray is new, but I was just introduced to it this year and was beyond impressed. It’s a priming and setting spray that’s super affordable and works just as well – if not better – than its higher end counterparts. Spray it under makeup for a mattifying effect and over makeup for fade-free wear in any climate. Definitely a summer must-have!

L’Oreal Full Wear Concealer

I’ve never been one to wear drugstore concealers, but the L’Oreal Full Wear Concealer has completely changed my mind. The shade range and formula is so impressive – it covers up anything from dark circles to acne scars.

Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint

I love playing with new lip products and have been obsessed with the Revlon Cushion Tint. The cushion applicator makes it so easy to apply color on the lips. You end up with a wash of color that looks like a stain and feels like a balm – perfect for everyday wear.

Maybelline City Bronzer

The Maybelline City Bronzer is just what you need if you’re into chiseled cheek bones. It comes in three shades that’s perfect for those ranging from super fair to medium skin tones. The velvety texture allows it to glide on the skin and creates a diffused, contoured effect.

Revlon Instant Cheek Maker

I’m game for anything that makes my life easier on the go. Revlon is really killing it this season with its latest offerings. This twist-up blush and highlighter duo helps you achieve perfectly sculpted cheeks and an instant glow up. It goes on smoothly and blends out like a charm.

Bodycare

Love Beauty and Planet Cleansing Body Mist

If you love face mists, then you need to try this cleansing body mist. It’s great if you have plans for long hikes or all-day music festivals this summer. It’s a showerless cleansing spray that keeps you feeling fresh and clean without water. It also smells amazing!

Haircare

Pantene Intense Rescue Shots

Whenever my hair feels dry and dull, I whip out these super affordable Pantene Rescue Shots. They come in single-dose tubes and leave my hair silkier and shiner after one shower. They come in packs of 3 and cost less than $5 – such a steal!

Kristen Ess Scalp Scrub

I sometimes find it funny how far we’ll go for our skin – but not always our hair. If you’re ready to level up your haircare routine, then you need to try this scalp scrub. It effectively removes product build up, hard water deposits, and excess sebum.

Staples

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

On the topic of budget beauty products, I figured I’d include some of my staples, such as this micellar water. In terms of performance, I feel like it far exceeds any other micellar water out there and doesn’t get enough praise. It removes eye makeup effectively and easily and never leaves my skin feeling dry.

Essie Nail Polish

Essie nail polishes are some of my favorites, especially the gel ones. If you change your nail color as frequent as I do, then Essie is a practical way to get it done.

Olay Regenerist Whip Face Moisturizer

This moisturizer seems thick at first but melts into a fluid, silky concoction that provides optimal hydration. It never feels sticky and is so nourishing. Get my full review here.
