Travel Beauty Essentials for Every Trip // Notjessfashion.com

Fashion month is always a hectic time for most influencers because of the demand to travel from one major fashion capital to another. I’ve been lucky to have attended a few fashion weeks now and have fine-tuned my packing skills, especially when it comes to beauty! As a girl, it’s natural to want to pack your entire vanity because you just never know what you might need. However, not all things run through TSA smoothly when my skin is in dire need of some in-flight TLC. It’s been a while since we’ve discussed makeup and skincare, so I thought I’d take the time to share my travel beauty essentials for every trip!

SKINCARE

Skincare is a priority when traveling. Without good skin, makeup just won’t wear that well – and I’m quite the fanatic so here are my latest favorite skincare products to consider as your travel beauty essentials too.

Dr. Jart Rubber Masks – Non-stop traveling typically leaves the skin dry and dehydrated. I’ve spoken before about how much I love these masks, but they are truly a necessity when traveling. My skin feels revitalized and supple after one application. It’s an essential skincare to-go for me.

Saturday Skin Daily Dew Hydrating Essence Mist – I love fuss-free skincare products, so I was drawn to this mist because it’s essence in a bottle. I’ve gotten into the much-hyped Korean beauty products and wasn’t disappointed with this mist. It’s multi-purpose so I can spray it before and/or after makeup. It keeps my skin fresh and hydrated throughout the day.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream – This moisturizer is the best for transforming and plumping up tired skin. It’s packed with anti-aging ingredients, which I can’t get enough of. Before makeup or before bed, this product will have your complexion go from lackluster to glowy instantly.

La Mer Cleansing Micellar Water – Micellar water is a saving grace for removing makeup and toning skin at the same time. This one by La Mer is one of my favorites. It’s available in two sizes, making it travel-friendly and effective. It sweeps away makeup and excess dirt without drying out my skin, which is important when I’m on the run. My skin feels much more rejuvenated and ready for makeup or layering other skincare products after one swipe.

Byredo Bal d’Afrique Hand Cream – Our hands are often overlooked yet so important since they’re constantly exposed to everything! Byredo is a luxury brand that I believe is worth indulging in – everything smells so good and the packaging is exquisite. They always use the best ingredients that keep my hands soft and moisturized.

MAKEUP

I love makeup as much as I do skincare. That’s why the right make-up is a part of my travel beauty essentials. From glowy skin to sculpted cheeks or a bold lip, I have no problem wearing it all! Here are a few favorites straight from the makeup bag…

Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Concealer – Those dark circles just don’t go away especially you’re in a completely different timezone. The craziest thing about traveling during fashion month is, you hardly get enough time in one place to adjust. That’s where my secret concealer comes in. I love that it’s weightless, creamy, and effective at counteracting dark circles!

Tarte PRO Glow to Go – What girl doesn’t fancy a nice contouring and highlighting effect? This travel palette from Tarte is a must-have for me. It comes with a universal contouring shade and two highlighters that suit all skin tones nicely. The powders are all blendable and can be layered to create a more intense look.

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick – If you’re ever wondering how I achieve such glowy skin, this is probably the trick! It looks super soft and almost unnoticeable. Plus, it exudes a lit from within blush effect that lasts all day.

Saturday Skin Cushion Compact – I’m still reaching for this cushion compact because it’s perfect for daily use with the high SPF. I also love the semi-matte yet natural finish it gives. Besides, it’s practical to throw in my purse when I’m out and about – and allows me to work in touch-ups as needed. Anything providing natural coverage and skincare benefits is pretty much a go!

3Lab Healthy Glow Lip Balm – Who doesn’t love a good lip balm? This one is awesome because it comes in bullet form and keeps my fingers clean. It’s lightly tinted, which I think results in a subtle but lovely nude pink gloss, and provides intense hydration. It can be easy to forget about your lips when traveling, but this one is so convenient to find inside my bag.

Tried any of these? What are your travel beauty essentials?
