The fashion industry is still feeling those animalistic vibes as we head into the fall and winter seasons. Loud cheetah, zebra, and snakeskin prints are in full force too – so much in fact that the street style I see in NYC is starting to mimic the zoo…but I am here for it. You can bet I will be channeling my spirit animal for the upcoming season. Although these prints are a little more aggressive than your standard stripe or plaid, wearing it tastefully can be quite satisfying. In case you need a little bit of a push, I managed to put together some outfits so you can wear animal print for everyday of the week!

Monday

Start the week off right with a cheetah mini dress. Whether you need to make it office appropriate or not, a leopard never fails to indicate that you’re dressed to impress. Plus, once you take it up a notch with an animal printed version, I promise you will literally feel unstoppable. Don’t forget to add a neutral blazer or trench to play down the bold print.

Tuesday

If you are someone who tends to shy away from statement prints and patterns, I find incorporating it into accessories is an easy way to ease into the trend. On Tuesday, brighten up your outfit with some animal printed shoes. This adds a pop to your outfit, without necessarily letting the trend take over your whole look.

Wednesday

Cure your Hump Day blues with a slitted slip dress. I love wearing slinky dresses when I am in a midweek slump because they make getting ready a piece of cake. If full on animal print is a little too much for you, try breaking it up by layering a solid chunky knit or basic tee on top.

Thursday

For Friday Eve, an animal printed skirt is the perfect outfit to curb your excitement for the coming weekend. Let the skirt do the talking by pairing it with a solid colored top. I adore a cheetah printed mini skirt with ruffles or a wrap. I’d recommend grabbing a top with fluttery sleeves to match!

Friday

Big Friday mood. It is time to celebrate the end of a long week! For something fun and on-trend, a slick snake skin skirt is perfect for grabbing dinner in the city or for heading out to the bar after work. Add an equally daring leather top into the mix and take it up a notch with printed boots.

Saturday

Whether you have date night plans or maybe you just feel like dressing up for a Target run (I’m not judging), an animal printed jacket is the perfect weekend look. Swipe on some red lipstick and you’re ready for a night out on the town.

Sunday

Sunday doesn’t always have to be full of scaries. A conservative animal printed maxi is perfect for brunch, church, or whatever your routine entail. Pair it with easy sneakers for something casual or add in nude accessories for that grown up touch.
