I‘ve talked about logistics being a nightmare during fashion week. The biggest issue is that once a show ends everyone flocks to the next location as fast as they can. After several seasons now, I’ve learned to navigate fashion week efficiently – and of course, none other than Uber is the best way to get around during NYFW!

Uber has added so many cool useful features (like scheduling a ride) over the last year, but for fashion week, the best function has been the Calendar Shortcuts. It couldn’t have come at a better time.

I always rely heavily on uberX as you’ve seen in the past, and that in combination with the Calendar Shortcuts, is basically every fashion week attendee’s wish come true. The new shortcuts save you the hassle of copying and pasting addresses from your calendar into the Uber app. You can now connect your calendar to the app, and it’ll extract the information for you.

The only thing is, you need to make sure your addresses are saved into your calendar (easy peasy!). I always have that set up from the get-go so it was no issue for me.

Although seemingly insignificant, this small feature saves you time when you’re literally on the go hour after hour. Plus, it allows you to just kick back and relax. If you’ve ever done fashion week, you know how hectic and exhausting it can get. The last thing I want to do is find an address when I’m distracted with a million other things.

I have to admit, these last few days have been seamless getting around fashion week, all thanks to Uber. I was actually able to revel in the shows, people watch around the street style scene, and connect with familiar faces with peace of mind. Logistics have been the least of my concerns throughout this entire week! I can recommend Uber over and over again with confidence if you ever have questions about getting around.
