Now may not be the best time to shop with the uncertain state of the economy, but if you’re going to do so, I say make it worthwhile! There are so many people fighting right now from healthcare workers to businesses – and it’s been both inspiring and heartbreaking. That said, I love seeing the community come together to make difference, especially in an industry like fashion/beauty that has a reputation for being self-centered. So many brands are stepping in to help and I wanted to share what they are. Keep scrolling for the beauty brands to shop right now!

beauty brands to shop during the coronavirus pandemic // Jessica Wang - Notjessfashion.com1. Moroccanoil

Moroccanoil is a brand that I can get behind as I’ve had a great relationship with them for the past few years. Plus, I’m a true fan of their products. Today, the haircare brand is donating all proceeds on to the Professional Beauty Association Relief Fund, which is being used to support licensed beauty professionals who are unable to work due to the coronavirus pandemic. If you have any hair dresser, nail tech, or esthetician friends out there, tell them about the fund and support Moroccanoil!

2. Farmacy

I shared here that Farmacy was joining the fight against COVID19 by donating 10,000 meals a day to Feeding America. It will also be matching donations made through its dedicated page here. Currently, they’ve raised almost $10,000 – and are making a huge impact in communities. I highly encourage you guys to support Farmacy!

3. Tata Harper

It probably seems like I’ve been raving about Tata Harper nonstop lately, but this natural beauty brand just did a thing that made me so proud recently. In just 24 hours, they developed an alcohol-based sanitizer to support the high-demand of hospitals and medical professionals. They then donated hundreds of units to the medical community in LA with plans to donate more to New York too. For me, that alone is worth supporting!

4. Tan Luxe

Tan Luxe is a self-tanning brand that I swear by and have had in my kit for several years now. They recently shifted their focus from producing bronzers into hand sanitizers to support professionals fighting on the frontline. The sanitizers will not be available for purchase as they’re being donated to health workers for free. I love that the products will be made in the brand’s stunning packaging.

5. MAC

MAC just announced yesterday that it will donate $10 million to 250 local organizations around the world to support vulnerable communities affected by COVID19 through its Viva Glam campaign. (Learn more here.) As a MAC makeup fan, I urge you all to make a difference and snag one of the lipsticks below!

6. True Botanicals

I’ve always loved non-toxic beauty brand True Botanicals, especially their facial oils. So when I found it was making COVID19 relief efforts, you bet I was ready to buy more! They recently donated 10% of profits to a food bank in San Francisco and gifted goodies to a COVID19 unit.

7. Murad

Murad is another amazing beauty brand to shop now. Fifteen percent of all sales made through will be donated to the No Kid Hungry organization through April 6. The organization helps feed kids affected by school closures.

8. Sunday Riley

Who doesn’t love Sunday Riley? Not only can you get 20% off every single product from their site now, but they also donated 500 jars of C.E.O. Vitamin C Cream across 13 US hospitals in efforts to fight health workers’ irritated skin!

9. Bliss

If you’ve been reading the news at all, you’d know that the thousands of healthcare workers fighting on the frontline are experiencing major skin irritation from the endless hours of wearing masks. Bliss is coming to the rescue and is donating self-care products to help them. And if you tag a #healthcarehero in their Instagram comments, that individual may be eligible to win a care package full of Bliss goodies. Five winners are chosen every Thursday for the next month. (P.S. If you shop Bliss now, you can take 20% off your order with the code GLOWON20!)

10. Briogeo

It’s no secret that the Tre-State area is hit the hardest when it comes to COVID19 with New York being number one. I’ve always considered New York home and it breaks my heart to see the impact. I love that NYC-based brand, Briogeo, is donating a portion of their proceeds from every purchase made on their site (here) to the Food Bank for NYC. It will help provide up to 50,000 meals during this difficult time. It’s definitely one of the beauty brands to shop now!
