I can’t believe another season of fashion week has already come and gone! This was probably my busiest season yet and I couldn’t be more grateful for it. I love using fashion week as a time to dress up and experiment with trends. It’s not only great to scout out the street style scene but to also take inspiration from the runways for the following season. Plus, I get to catch up with so many influencer friends – many of whom I don’t get to see very often. Ahead, I’ve recapped everything I wore during NYFW SS20!

nyfw ss20, zimmermann dress, nyfw ss20 street style // Notjessfashion.comI usually try to lay pretty low before fashion week officially kicks off, but this season was completely different. The days leading into the actual shows were packed with events and installments. One of the first being the La Prairie Skin Caviar Eye Lift launch party plus a gorgeous candle lit dinner with Zimmermann.

I wore this graphic print dress with super glossy over the knee boots and a vintage printed bag. I adore the bat-winged sleeves

One of the highlights of this season was the Daily Front Row Fashion Media Awards event, which honors some of the best and most influential names in the fashion industry. It was very cool to see fashion heavyweights like Kate Moss and the stunning Zendaya. I wore this gorgeous dress by Raisa & Vanessa and it was a true head jerker!

Daily Front Row was also kind enough to feature me in their new series of interviews, #DeepInfluence, which dives into the lives of fashion’s top influencers. I divulged a ton of commentary that I don’t often share on the blog – read all about it HERE.

For the Harper’s Bazaar Icons Party, I picked out another Raisa & Vanessa number, which stunned everyone. I paired it with blingy statement earrings and a sleek hairdo by my friends at Aveda. Long dresses and high heels always make me nervous but thank god I haven’t tripped :) It was such a magical night!

Fashion Week Kick Off

Kate Spade Suit (Similar Cheetah Print Blazer and Cheetah Print Pants Here) | Amina Muaddi Mules (Similar here, and here)| Kate Spade Satchel | Gold Plated Pearl Earrings Similar

The first of my shows kicked off with Kate Spade, and staying true to the brands aesthetic, each look was bright, feminine, and quirky. I loved how wearable everything was. Following Kate Spade was Ulla Johnson. I’ve always been an Ulla Johnson fan and loved how the show was a mix of bold and bohemian elegance. The brand always does an amazing job mixing colors and clashing patterns while making it feel harmonious.

For Day 2, I wore a full Adeam look for both the Longchamp and Adeam shows. I paired it with these bold heels to really make the denim pop – and it worked like a charm. The Longchamp show was modern and edgy with hints of hippie inspo – very cool to see. Adeam was every neutral lover’s dream come true – I wanted to wear every single piece!

The night concluded two parties – one with Swarovski and another with Bulgari x Alexander Wang where I spent the entire time dancing the night away. Catch it all in my Instagram stories!

The following morning started out hectic as I was prepping for an Elle Magazine shoot. Thank god the Aveda and Charlotte Tilbury teams came to the rescue – had my hair and makeup on point… I wish everyday was like this! Get the full details of the products we used in my stories.

Day 4

I missed out on a few snaps for Day 4, but wanted to highlight both the Tibi and Prabal Gurung shows. As is expected from Tibi, I noticed a lot of simple, tailored pieces with a huge focus on silhouette and fabrics – think puffy shoulders, tapered pants, and vinyl leather. I could see myself adding these pieces to my daily wardrobe.

Prabal Gurung on the other hand was probably my favorite of all fashion week! His collections just get better every year, and his 10 year anniversary collection totally blew my mind. It was relaxed, elegant, and left me in a complete trance.

Day 5

Carolina Herrera Dress Similar | Kenneth Jay Lane Earrings Similar | Ankle Strap Pumps Heels | Clutch Similar

Day 5 started with Carolina Herrera – which I felt was one of the brand’s strongest collections yet. All the voluminous pieces had my name written all over them. Wes Gordon did such an amazing job capturing the joyful energy innate in the brand. I also had the honor of attending both the Jonahan Simkhai and Zimmermann shows – both were so delicate and dreamy!

Day 6

I always look forward to seeing Sally LaPointe’s fluid designs that seem to feel so good on the body. This season was full of strong tailored pieces and elegant silk separates in pastel tones that looked so wearable. Every look popped on the bright orange carpet and made for a really nice presentation.

Moving towards the end of fashion week always gets a bit less hectic for everyone. Day 7 started out a bit later and I wore a casual, cool look for the Coach runway show. I love when shows start off with drinks and treats – Coach totally nailed it here. I was totally feeling the undone American vibes and bold splashes of colors too!

one shoulder dress, socks and sandals, nyfw ss20, oscar de la renta street style //

Oscar de la Renta Dress | Oscar de la Renta Handbag | Platform Heels (Similar here, here, and here)| Earrings Similar

Later in the evening, I did a quick outfit change for Oscar de la Renta, which was another stand out show – similar to Prabal Gurung in a way – but different, if that makes any sense. The incorporation of textures, color, and shorter hemlines gave the collection a younger feel (still very elegant though!). It was definitely one of my favorites!

Day 8

My fashion week concluded on a strong note with the Michael Kors and Brock Collection runway shows, and then tea time with Fendi. I couldn’t have asked for a better ending!
