It’s hard to believe that we were just talking about Spring trends a few weeks ago, and now the season of blooms is feeling closer than ever. At the start of every season, you should be super excited to buy new pieces to transition your wardrobe into Spring. For me, it’s impossible to not be stoked after a full month of fashion shows. The outfit you see in today’s post is one I put together while I was away, which was inspired by the slightest sliver of sun. It’s so Spring ready!

I figured I should talk about 5 spring staples – all under $100 – you should buy to refresh and update your wardrobe.

Pastel Jacket

Spring is one of those seasons where you may or may not need your arms covered. And in that case, you can’t go wrong with a lightweight, pastel jacket at all times. Have no fear when it comes to pastel outerwear because you’ll be wearing it well into the end of the year. This is a good time to try a light duster like the one I’m wearing, a blazer, or a boxy cropped jacket.

Suede Heels

Not sure if you picked it up from last season’s shows, but I certainly did, and suede heels are going to be a hit for Spring. This is a fabrication common to fall, but they’re sticking around this year! I’ve always loved suede shoes so this is good news for me.

Go ahead and elevate your sundress or shorts with bright suede mules, kitten heels, or ankle strap sandals.

Bold Earrings

If it’s still too early for you to get ahead on your Spring basics, try some new bold earrings. Some of my favorite earring styles for the upcoming season are those constructed of lucite, beads, and/or acrylic. They’re such a small, but impactful change when it comes to a wardrobe update. I love how they stand out even in a busy outfit.

Bright Bag

Now is also a good time to trade in your go-to handbag for a bright, fun one. I love micro bags that pop against a neutral outfit or small, bright white bags that break up a bold look. You’ve seen me style my bags this way countless times in the past month, and you should try it too!

Sheer Socks

You guys know how much I love wearing socks with everything at this point, and I just can’t get enough of sheer socks lately. I love how they look with metallic pumps, sneakers, and even peeking out from ankle boots. They’re super cheap and look amazing with dresses, cropped jeans, and skirts – really anything that shows off your ankles!
