My mood is very much influenced by what outfit I decide to wear every morning, which is one of the reasons why I am so attracted to color. If I wear something bold and bright, I naturally feel much more pleasant and upbeat. Granted, I can understand why some people might not want to wear bright orange in the midst of winter, but now that it is summer, this is a great opportunity to get out of your comfort zone. Incorporating color into your outfit, even if it is just a pop of color with an accessory, is an easy way to elevate your style and be more on-trend. Although I tend to rock every color under the sun, here are the Summer 2019 color trends I can’t get enough of.

Whether it is a pale banana yellow or a darker honey gold, this spectrum of color is trending everywhere in both fashion and home decor. This continues to be one of my favorite colors to wear because I am drawn to its brightness that makes everything feel happier. Yellow is amazing to wear this time of year because it fits so well with the sunshine and that endless summer vibe. You can opt for something tropical, such as a yellow floral summer dress, or something bold like a yellow pantsuit for your next event.

Aquamarine, a sweet fusion of blue and green, is a brilliant color to wear during the summertime. There is just something so refreshing and airy about it. Plus, I find the color radiates a lot of positive, relaxing energy, making it perfect for the comforting lull of long summer days. You can wear aquamarine in a cute blouse, a ruche mini dress, or even a bathing suit.

Lavender

Lavender typically blooms during July and often, style imitates nature. This lilac shade is a great color to wear this season because it mixes both fearless and femininity. When it comes to softer, more pastel shades such as lilac, I love to juxtapose it by wearing it in a more androgynous pieces. Recently, I was in Monte Carlo and one of my favorite outfits of the trip was this beautiful lavender suit set which really popped in every setting.

Lime Green

Go big or go home, as they say and what better place to apply this rule then with color! Luckily for us, flashes of neon in fashion are very much in right now. When I am feeling rambunctious, neon green is always a fun color to style. If you are up for it, head-to-toe neon is a show stopper that is perfect for your next party or night out. Or you can approach it the more timid way, by using neon accessories to add that fluorescent pop.

Navy is one of those colors that always shines every single summer. As we gravitate more towards those All-American looks with denim, navy naturally falls in this category. This darker shade of blue is universal and manages to look good on everybody, which is a huge plus! In the summer, you can pair your favorite navy pieces with white for a classic, nautical vibe.
