You guys are very familiar with my shoe obsession by now – and this summer I’m so excited for the wide variety of styles you can get your hands on. The warm weather paired with longer days mean everyone can use new shoes for summer. I know I’ve already started my 2018 collection. So, get your pedicures done and start shopping. I’m sharing a few favorites I’ve been keeping on my top shelf, which you can shop below.

Block Heel Sandals

Block heel sandals are of course my top pick because they’re the most versatile of all. Whether you’re in a denim mini, cocktail dress, or evening gown, it’s your wear-with-everything style. The simple two strap sandals above have gone just about everywhere with me but you can go for the more casual mule styles. The comfort factor is what sold me over on these!

Colorful Slides

You bet I’m happy to see colorful slides trending because I’m not one to always roots for neutrals. Bright shoes are a great way to make the most boring outfit interesting or to add a fun element to your denim looks. One thing’s for sure – they’re anything but basic!

Clear Shoes

Shoes for Summer - Clear Mules, transparent heels, clear sandals //

I’m no neophyte to clear, transparent shoes! In fact, I’m sure you recall me rocking these clear Kendall + Kylie PVC boots (which are sold out now) many times on the blog! But there are a ton of new PVC sandals and heels you can get on with. From clear straps to clear heels, I’ll take them all. I love that they’re so versatile – and essentially invisible.

Sculptural Heels

Another style rising slowly but surely are sculptural heels. The two brands I’ve been obsessed with for doing this trend so well are Cult Gaia and Jacquemus.

The unique heel brings a novel, contemporary twist to any look. I love how it looks peeping from underneath maxi dresses – and how they instantly turn heads with cropped trousers or jeans. I’ve already splurged on a few and haven’t regretted it!

Tie Details

The last style that I think everyone needs to try are sandals with a bow or tie accent. I don’t know if you guys recall, but life size bows first made appearances on the runway last season and I’m noticing them them sprout up everywhere. First was in tops, tie-waist dress and trousers, and now shoes. I love how playful and feminine they look this summer!
