If you haven’t noticed by now, everything skin related is so important to me. There’s nothing I love more than a natural, dewy complexion that just radiates from within. During the winter, this can be harder to achieve, so I make sure to give extra love to my skin, which involves using quality products that deliver results. Today, I’m going to share my go-to products that make your skin glow instantly and effortlessly.

Cleanser & Exfoliants

Beautiful, glowing skin originates from clean, healthy skin. So, having a good all-purpose cleanser is super important, as well as an exfoliant to use a couple of times per week to get that extra luminosity.

If you haven’t discovered Lush, you’re missing out. Lush has some amazing natural facial cleansers for every skin type. Angels on Bare Skin is a delicious lavender cleanser that calms and softens the skin. It’s great for any season, but especially in winter when the air can be really harsh and dehydrating.

On the flip side, sometimes winter air actually makes my skin randomly break out, or it overcompensates for the dryness by producing excess oil. I love Korean brands like Amorepacific and Dr. Jart for its gentle exfoliation.

As for exfoliators, I cannot recommend Kate Somerville’s ExfoliKate Treatment enough! It’s expensive but works incredibly well to refresh and hydrate your skin.

You absolutely need a good moisturizer and/or hydrating oil for winter to get that glowing effect. One of my favorites is this set from Biossance, which includes a cleansing and facial oil plus a serum to give yourself the full hydrating treatment.

I’m also obsessed with L’Occitane Almond Oil which I use when I want a little extra nourishment. Other great facial oils are by Herbivore and Sunday Riley. For a major glow booster, I mix face oils with my moisturizer or foundation.

Vitamin C

Another key to bright, glowing skin is Vitamin C! It’s filled with antioxidants and helps produce collagen that keeps your skin smooth. I use Korres Vitamin C Oil and Clinique’s Booster to even my skin and give it the vitamins it needs!

Now moving onto makeup… No amount of makeup can ever truly replicate the radiance of healthy skin! However, if you take care of your skin, the products below will enhance what you’ve got going on tenfold.

Light-weight makeup definitely helps accentuate glow, which is why I like BB and CC creams. The ones by IT Cosmetics and Dr. Jart provide the perfect amount of coverage and it has SPF! If you’re looking for a foundation, you definitely need to check out the infamous Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – or Tom Ford’s Traceless Foundation.

Highlighters are also major game changers when it comes to getting your glow on. Glossier products have such a lovely, dewy appearance that really let your natural beauty shine through! The Haloscope Highlighter is so easy to put on, it’s moisturizing, and has tons of vitamins! Becca also makes really stunning powder highlighters.

Although not entirely necessary, eyeshadow can be really great way to open up the eyes. I recommend Tarte and Urban Decay eyeshadow palettes. They have everything- from smoky eye and neutral tones to bold colors! Use it as the final finishing touch to brighten your eyes and accentuate your dazzling complexion!
