Dominating in saturated hues!

I kicked off the second part of London Fashion Week in this saturated look. You can probably guess by now that the color wheel makes up a huge part of my personal style and the pieces I’m drawn to. When breaking out such a bold look, it’s important to break up the intensity of colors with neutral accessories. The blue and violet in this outfit were quite extra so I added in white booties and a white buckle bag to neutralize it and create contrast. But enough of the outfit, I can’t wait to get to the shows! In this LFW Recap, I’ll be covering one presentation and two shows that I loved!

Last fashion week was my first time at the Sophia Webster presentation, and it was such a work of art that I knew I had to attend again. And I just loved the fall/winter 2018 presentation because it was equally as captivating as the previous but with a twist. The disco influence was so much fun and definitely kept my attention. I loved the flashes of color, opulent adornments, and texture play. The fringe and fur are all something I’d wear!

Opulent and glimmering!

Palmer Harding AW18 Show // Notjessfashion.comThis was my first season watching the Palmer Harding show and it certainly won’t be my last. Palmer Harding is all about deconstructed shirting, cool structure, and soft tailoring – lots of masculine and innovative elements I love about fashion. Who would have known that a simple button down top can look amazing in so many different ways. The imagination and execution from this duo is pure genius.

In full brightness…

After seeing much pastels and bright colors off the runway, I was inspired to bring out the lighter side of my wardrobe. My second look was this mint green outfit, which I wore with white and yellow accessories.

I can’t get enough of this green pleated skirt, which is selling out quickly! It’s slinkiness just feels great and photographs so well! Can you tell that I’ve been obsessed with white accessories all fashion month long?

And finally, we have Roland Mouret. I loved the complexity of the designs and draping I saw at this show. The entire collection was so thoughtful, chic, and feminine. I immediately noticed how intricate the cuts and fabrics were as soon as the models strutted down the runway. From the movement of each garment to the way they moved against a woman’s body, I was awestruck – there’s just so much to love about it!

I’ll be sharing the last installment of my LFW recap tomorrow, so check back!
