Instagram Outfit Round Up: 9 Looks that Seamlessly Transition from Winter to Spring

Date: Posted on Category: Fashion, Outfit
I love the changing of the seasons because it leaves to much to experiment with wardrobe-wise. I particularly love the transition from winter to spring, because I get to combine the best pieces from winter with my favorite pieces for spring. It’s obvious that I want the warm Spring weather to get here as soon as possible, but it is fun to see how spring fashion (like jackets and blouses) pairs with some of my favorite winter ones (like boots).

So here’s a round-up of some of my Instagram looks with the best ideas to make a feminine, chic, and memorable outfit to wear for the first couple weeks of spring.

DENIM DAZE

Denim Jacket | Top  | Pants: (similar here) | Shoes: Stella McCartney (also love this pair in white) | Bag: Gucci (similar here)

Break up denim on denim with unexpected details! Don’t go all blue without a little break. I absolutely love this denim jacket I wore with white lace trims. Of course,  a denim jacket is a spring fashion must-have, but so many of them look the same. To make yours uniquely you, try finding one with some details like I did with lace, or embroidery or studs. There are so many options!

MAD FOR PLAID

Plaid doesn’t have to be boring or dull. For example, a plaid in a bright color and with a feminine silhouette speaks volumes. I absolutely love the boldness in this green plaid blouse. It’s such a statement, and the combination of the green plaid with the volume of the blouse itself is so unexpected and works perfectly with this casual spring look.

BOOT UP

Jacket: (similar here) | Striped Top | Pants: Asos | White Boots (another option here)

White boots are the best because they can go with anything. And in this look, I opted to pair them with a neutral-hued look. The neutral colors really give the white boots the pop that they so deserve. I am thinking of so many different outfits I can wear white boots with as we speak!

TAILOR MADE

Statement Trench - 9 Looks that Seamlessly Transition from Winter to Spring // NotJessFashion.com

Trench Coat | Pants: (similar here) | Shoes: (suede version) | Bag: Loewe

I am obsessed with this trench coat. It is so chic, especially with its feminine details in the belt and the collar that are so me. A trench is definitely a go-to for spring fashion, especially if you live somewhere like New York when it can still get a little chilly.

ONE FOR ALL

Jumpsuit - 9 Looks that Seamlessly Transition from Winter to Spring // NotJessFashion.com

Top: Shopbop | Overalls: Asos | Shoes: Dr. Martens | Bag: Gucci

This jumpsuit is a comfy and easy look, but still feminine with the cuff detail and the right styling. I love how this is such a stylish look but honestly feels like I’m wearing pajamas. Definitely a good outfit for a day you plan on taking a nap!

PRETTY IN PINK

Blazer: (similar here) | Sweater | Pants: (similar here) | Sneakers

Pink isn’t going away anytime soon. A pop of pink is more spring than April showers and May flowers. I could definitely wear this pink blazer every day if I could. It brings so much more excitement to this casual look and brings that feminine touch to balance the edginess of my ripped denim.

POMPOM REMIX

Top: Topshop | Pants: Topshop (tassels option)

Unexpected pompom details are so fun and girly! These jeans with the pom-pom details at the ankle bring so much color and interest to a basic look with a simple silhouette. In fact, the rest of the look being so minimalist keeps the pom poms from being too costume-y.

PASSPORT TO CHIC

Bold Orange - 9 Looks that Seamlessly Transition from Winter to Spring // NotJessFashion.com

Top | Overalls: (also love this option) | Shoes: (similar here) | Bag: (love this yellow one too!)

I am so happy overalls are in right now because denim overalls are so easy to wear, and they are the perfect go-to on those days when you just don’t have time to figure out what to wear in the morning. In addition with the bright orange heels that I wore, I decided to make it even more fun with the off the shoulder top underneath!

RELAXED SOPHISTICATION

Jacket: Revolve | Top: Enza Costa | OTK Boots: Stuart Weitzman (similar here and here) | Bag: (similar here)

Another reason why I love spring neutrals is because I can add pretty much any pop of color to it and it instantly becomes a memorable outfit. Like this outfit, I wore with a pop of peach. Accordingly, the pop of peach adds a fresh mix with the neutrals, and I absolutely love it.
