There’s nothing more essential than a workspace that inspires you – and not just because most of us are WFH lately, but because a home office can do wonders for your mindset and productivity levels. Whether you run a business full-time or simply use a desk to pay your bills, I’m sharing 10 upgrades that you can make to your home office right now. I personally prefer a balance of comfort, style, and structure so it doesn’t feel too serious so most of my picks below will reflect that. Keep scrolling for them!

West Elm Floor Mirror

Mirror selfies are the new #OOTD, but you really can’t make it happen without a full-length mirror. That’s exactly why you should add one to the office space. I’m loving this one with the arched silhouette and gold frame. It’s elegant, simple, and most importantly, functional. (Also, it’s on sale at West Elm!)

Plush Swivel Office Chair

Long days working demand a comfortable chair that swivels. I love thick, plush cushioning that won’t make my legs sore after a few hours. This one is great for smaller office spaces while this one looks extra roomy (also love the rich color). Either one will instantly elevate your office.

Nomad Wireless Charging Hub

For a more practical piece, this wireless charging hub is slim enough to look good on the desk. Plus, you can charge your iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch simultaneously. You might even want an extra one for the bedside.

Tie Dye Desk Pad

I’m still old school in the sense that I love putting pen to paper. These tie-dye pads with the metallic rose gold edges are such a nice addition to the desk. Use them to write your to-do’s, reminders, important notes or phone numbers that you might forget.

Polished Desk

If you’ve been working from your dining table or kitchen island, it’s probably time to invest in a desk. I see my desk as a quiet haven to catch up on work and get organized – and the kitchen/dining area is no place for that. I love a glass top because it makes a space feel brighter and open. With gold legs, it feels entirely luxe and modern. Here’s a similar style the one I linked above for under $200 on Amazon!

Phone Mount

If you’re a mid-day selfie person – or like to hop on stories for a quick chat, this phone mount will make your WFH life easier. The flexible mount combined with the clamp grips onto any surface. The 360 degree rotation is also a huge bonus.

Chic Desk Lamp

A desk lamp is great for many reasons, but my favorite of them all is to add a bit of style. The gold and white finish on this one is so sleek and versatile that it works great for any home office style – or even on a console and side table.

Textured Vase

If you want your office space to feel less corporate and more home-y, decorate accordingly. Textured vases are great as standalone pieces, but also feel really nice with a fresh bouquet popped in. H&M has some really beautiful options that won’t break the bank.

Pen Holder

You don’t always have to go with traditional pieces for the desk top like a cup for a pen holder. I love this makeup brush organizer from Anthropologie that can be used to hold pens, palo santo sticks, and a jade roller.

Vanity Tray

Vanity trays are also great to keep your desk organized and tidy. You can layer in books, candles/candle holders, hand sanitizers, and more! And if you decide you don’t want it on your desk later, you can always transition it to the coffee table or book shelf!
