No season makes me feel like I have nothing to wear like the holidays! However, it also happens to be my favorite time of the year – what a conundrum, right? Anyway, this year, I decided to stay ahead of myself and rounded up the most gorgeous holiday trends you need to know. From celebrating Christmas to New Years, you won’t be short of outfit options to conclude 2018. While you can always fall back on classics such as a LBD or a velvet number, consider one of my picks below before settling!

1. Liquid Metal

Dressed in metallics isn’t ground breaking, but it is statement making when you’re head to toe in liquid metal. I wore this look to celebrate the Victoria’s Secret show and got tons of compliments on it, so I know it’ll be clear winner for any holiday party. Plus, if you’re not quite the sequin girl, a gold or silver dress paired with coordinating heels and a matching bag will allow you to shine. Remember, the lights on the tree don’t have to be the only thing shining this season.

2. Party Animal

Holiday party dressing doesn’t always have to be fancy frocks. If you’re one who doesn’t take yourself too seriously, an animal printed skirt or dress might just be what you’re looking. Here’s a look I’d wear for a girl’s night out or even Friendsmas. You can dress it down by losing the blouse and replacing it with a casual tee and pumps.

Head-turning and timeless…

3. Crystal Drop Earrings

For instant glamour, a pair of crystal drop earrings is a total game changer. They’ve look as amazing with an evening dress as they do with jeans and a sweater. So if you ever feel like you’re not fully put together, a dazzling pair of earrings might just be the missing piece. There couldn’t be a better time to add these truly stunning baubles to your jewelry collection!

4. Fringe

You know you’ve found the perfect dress when people can’t stop talking about it. Ever since sharing this fringe dress, you guys have been asking me where it’s from. It’s already sold out a few times, but currently back in stock at Rachel Zoe! I even found a few other affordable options below (this one is so chic). But deck yourself out in fringe and you’ll be ready to dance and twirl all night long.

5. Jumpsuits & Suiting

Not up for traditional holiday dresses? Then there’s always the jumpsuit or power suit. Look for unique details and fabrications like sequin, velvet, or jewel tones to take the piece from basic to outstanding.

Having the right accessories and pair of heels will also make a world of difference.

6. 80s Era

One of my absolute favorite trends of the season hails from the 80s – mini dresses with bold shoulders in either a bold color or a moody print. It’s such a great style to pair with over the knee boots, blingy earrings, and a faux fur coat for extra glam. I’ve already worn several variations of this look and will continue to!
