Sweater weather is officially in session and one of the things I’m most excited for is cozy knits. Most people spend pre-fall gazing over the next handbag, boots, or coat, but a quality sweater can be just as luxurious and special. Fall 2018 brings us an influx of fresh trends that I have been dying to pull out and wear. Whether it’s argyle, fair isle, or a classic turtleneck, there are plenty of affordable options to put a unique touch on your favorite ensembles. Although we won’t feel an actual change in temperatures for at least another few weeks, it can’t hurt to start preparing for the change in leaves and cool breeze. So, I’ve rounded up all the cozy knits you should grab now!…
…
1. Cardigan
Mark my words when I say cardigans are making a debut this season. I’m loving the look of an oversized cardigan halfway buttoned as worn here during fashion week.
2. Turtleneck
The turtleneck sweater will always have a place in my heart. Whether it’s fitted or chunky and oversized, it’s one of the most versatile cool weather pieces to have in your wardrobe. Style it with leggings, jeans, or a skirt and you’re basically good for fall.
3. Cropped
I love cropped style knitwear with high-waisted pants or mini skirts because you can fake a tuck-in look without having a ton of bulk. This style also allows you to rock a little tummy action before it gets way too cold.
4. Stripe or Color Block
Colorful stripes and bold color blocking are having a moment. If you always wanted to wear happier colors in the fall without looking ridiculous, now you can with this season’s crafty, crayola color palette.
5. Balloon Sleeve
I have always loved a little sleeve interest whether it’s ruffles, cut outs, or a billowy sleeve. If I could only pick one, it’d be balloon sleeves because it takes cozy knits to the next level.

Lastly, everyone needs a good cable knit sweater. The heritage style always looks classy and on-trend paired with skinny jeans.
