Baggy Layers with Bold Sneakers
I recently snagged these bright citrus colored beauties and knew they’d be the perfect focal point of a casual chic outfit. I kept thing relaxed by opting for a loose, menswear inspired blazer and some equally baggy jeans that I cuffed at the hem. (One of my quick style tricks to show off a great pair of shoes is rolling up my jeans.) This is a really simple outfit that looks incredibly stylish thanks to the bold kicks and matching scarf. I finished off the look by adding a denim bucket hat.

Touch of Leather
This next outfit looks like it is borrowed right from the Matrix thanks to one of my favorite outerwear pieces this winter. I layered a faux leather blazer over a black turtleneck and styled it with distressed, baggy denim. To keep the cool, streetwear vibes going, my shoes are these retro baby blue Nike’s. Unlike the first outfit, I kept the jeans uncuffed because I really liked how they fell perfectly over the sneakers.

Matching Oversized Sweats
If you happen to be working from home all winter, this outfit is definitely a must. First of all, I am in love with a slouchy, cozy sweatsuit that was made to snuggle in. To keep it from looking too “lazy”, opt for a wool jacket in a camel color. You can then ramp up the off duty vibes with some ribbed knit socks and chunky sneakers.

This outfit might be the comfiest of them all! Although, I do not often shoot looks that incorporate leggings, I thought this was a more stylish take on the basic mainly thanks to the beige sneakers and off beat layering! I styled them with some cozy socks and an oversized hoodie for some added color. Skip the scarf and tie a sweater over your shoulders.

Winter Layering
Lastly, you cannot talk about casual chic outfits without including cozy layers. This combination of a tonal turtleneck sweater, long coat and acid wash jeans is equal parts comfortable and fashionable. Of course, for my footwear, I am again wearing some sneakers that help tie everything together. In this case though, let the denim fall over the shoes as I think it makes for a more streamlined look.
